How to Publish a Guest Post on Good Gambling Sites

Yes, I am willing to accept guest posts on Good Gambling Sites.

No, I do NOT accept payment for guest posts. Don’t even ask.

I’m only interested in publishing your content if it’s useful for my readers. If you have to try to pay me to publish it, then the content probably isn’t useful enough.

Topics I’m Interested In

I’m willing to look at guest posts on any of the following topics:

  1. Gambling
  2. Casinos
  3. Poker
  4. Sports Betting
  5. Blackjack
  6. Craps
  7. Roulette
  8. Slot Machines
  9. Video Poker
  10. Other – If you have ideas about topics that might seem like a fit but don’t fall into one of the above categories, just let me know.

Word Count

I’m interested in blog posts between 2000 and 3000 words. The quality of the writing and the depth of coverage is more important than the word count. I like to publish substantive, comprehensive, authoritative blog posts as much as possible.

Images

If you submit a guest post, it must include at least one image, preferably something unique. I especially like pictures of your experiences at real, live, brick and mortar casinos. Don’t steal images that have a copyright belonging to someone else for this purpose. I’m also not interested in images from Wikipedia.

Links

Links make the web what it is. You should definitely link to a relevant, useful URL from your post. I review everything you link to from the guest post before publishing it, though. I reserve the right to reject the post if I don’t like the website being linked to.

In fact, you should link to multiple useful web pages from within the post. You should link to a minimum of 4 external URLs for multiple websites, but 12 is probably better. The low end is for shorter blog posts; the high end is for longer posts.

Besides the external links, I’ll also need you to link to between 4 and 8 other blog posts or static pages on this site from within the content of the post.

Submissions and Formatting

You should submit any potential guest posts in a Word document. It should be formatted with a single header 1 and multiple header 2s. You should have at least 8 headers in the post, maybe more, and no more than about 300 words per section. Sentences and paragraphs should be short, clear, and direct. Active voice is a must.

I tend to like numbered lists and strong headlines. “7 Ways to Win at Blackjack” is more interesting a headline than “Blackjack Strategy,” for example. Feel free to run your headline by me beforehand if you like to see if it fits.

Your post should start with an introduction that runs between 200 and 300 words. Try to include some interesting statistics or numbers in the introduction. Don’t use a header that says “Introduction.”

Your post should also end with a conclusion of between 200 and 300 words. Try to sum up the main point of your post in the conclusion. DO use a header that says “Conclusion.”

Copyright

If you submit a guest post to me, you’re giving me all rights to the content. This means I can edit it as I see fit, I can republish it on a different site, and I can use my affiliate links in the article. You can’t publish it on your site, sell it to anyone else, or reclaim the content at a later date.

Get in Touch

It might sound like I’m hard to work with. If you’re not able to produce a minimally-acceptable level of professional content, that’s probably true.

On the other hand, if you’re able to write or have someone on your team who is, we’ll probably enjoy working together. Suggest some topics. If none of the topics you suggest are a good fit, I’ll probably write back with some suggestions for you. Be sure to Include which site you’re asking about (GoodGamblingSites.com), as I manage other sites besides this on.

I reserve the right to turn down any submission for any reason, obviously.
